Out with the truckers and the kickers and the cowboy angels. The song of the Road.   of 20,000 roads.

It’s an amazing tune. My personal favorite of his is Juanita. A tale of deep regret, and great redemption all wrapped up in under 3 minutes.

If America did nothing of note except give us Gram Parsons, that would still be good enough.

I think he recorded it solo. It’s a sad, simple song.

Emmylou is a treasure. Who gets better with age.

She really carried on for Gram. Are you familiar with Fred?

I have not heard of him, thanks!

I have seen Emmylou a couple of times. Took my mom once and she cried sitting there listening. Pretty cool.

I’m not even a country guy, but as I’ve aged and miled myself out I have had my woman leave me, my dog die, and and my old pickup truck break down on me. And with my dream car crashed, I’ve got a heart full of broken country songs. Cant post the link but find a good live version of “its a pontiac”
